中學部音樂劇:《思.源》

原創音樂劇

音樂劇故事及音樂皆由校友林屴汧先生原創,林鎮威先生執導。作品講述聖保羅書院早年兩位師生霍約瑟校長與楊衢雲先生在香港的故事。

 

林屴汧先生運用藝術手法,將兩個不同時空的人物扣連在一起,鮮明的形象躍然於舞台上。是次音樂劇由4幕共17首歌曲組成,以管弦樂團現場伴奏,歌曲風格多樣,歌詞勵志,旋律動人,必定帶給觀眾耳目一新之感。

Lam Lik-Hin Stephen (Alumnus)

Lam started his violin study with Chao Bee-darn at the age of four. During his study in St Paul’s College, he was an active member in representing the school to local and overseas music competitions and performances. In his University period, he was selected as the representative of Hong Kong to join the Austria Music Training Camp (2006), and an exchange student to Pennsylvania State University (2007), majoring orchestral conducting and English Literature.
This evening’s performance is the premiere of Lam’s work, ’Eastern Odyssey’, commissioned and undertaken as part of the 165th anniversary celebration of St. Paul’s College.

Lam Chun Wai Janwick

Lam obtained his degree majoring in drama from The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts in 2007. Since graduation, he has made more than 2000 performances around schools in Hong Kong. He has joined the Chung Ying Theatre Company in 2012 as Resident Actor, and the Chivalry Creative Theatre in 2014. He has founded Theatre Hikari in 2015, and is currently a drama tutor, freelance director, actor, producer and corporate trainer.

Jarita Wan

Wan obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Music from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008, and a Master of Arts in English in The University of Hong Kong in 2011. Since her debut in 2009, she has widely performed in various projects. Wan established Nightingale Artiste in 2012, which aims to develop arts education and charity promotion.

Ming Kwong (Alumnus)

Kwong holds a Master’s degree in Piano Accompaniment from the Manhattan School of Music, obtained under the tutelage of Warren Jones, and a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music.

Kwong is also very active in the world of opera and musical theatre. In Hong Kong, he was just appointed to be the chorus master for the upcoming production of L'elisir d'amore by Musica Viva. He also works at Opera Hong Kong.
